Ten Commandments Study
The Ten Commandments have become a regular topic in the Culture Wars. From Judge Roy Moore to the ACLU, everyone has an opinion about the place of the Ten Commandments in the public square. Should they be in the courthouse? Should they be in the school? Tablets with the commandments on them have even appeared in front of used car dealerships. In American society, the battle over the commandments reveals the conflict for structuring society. However, we must ask the question, “How should the commandments structure society?”
Each Sunday at 4:00 PM, Attorney Warren Bennett III, leads a twelve week study of the Ten Commanments with the goal of examining the commandments and their application not only to us as Christians, but also to society as a whole. Attorney Warren Bennett graduated with honors from Pensacola Christian College and Mississippi College School of Law. He has passed the bars of Florida and Mississippi and worked as a lawyer with David Gibbs during the Terri Schaivo case. He is the current preacher for Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Come with us on our journey as we study the commandments. Try us out to see if Covenant Presbyterian Church is the church family to which God has called you. Test our spirit to see if we speak the truth of God’s Word.
