What we believe about the Holy Spirit

September 9, 2009

Covenant Presbyterian Church acknowledges the necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit. Without the work of the Spirit, we would remain in our sin and misery. We bow before the terror of holiness. In reverence and fear, we worship the Lord only as He has instructed us. The benchmark for worship is not those elements that we find comfortable or entertaining. We do not worship God merely…

What we believe about Scripture

September 9, 2009

Covenant Presbyterian Church places supreme importance upon the revelation of God written in the Bible. The Bible is the only infallible, complete, and final communication of God to man. Everything we do or believe must come directly from God’s Word. It is the axis around which our entire world revolves. We do not rely upon the opinions of man, but solely upon the Word of God.
