Merry Christmas! 2015

His name was Simeon.  Her name was Anna.  He made an unexpected visit to the temple.  She never left it.  Both saw the baby.  Mary and Joseph had brought him there in obedience to the law.  Little did they expect the result.  Simeon lived his life looking for the Messiah.  Anna lived 84 years as a widow longing for redemption in Jerusalem.  At the end of their earthly days, God still had something for them to do.

Whether this is your first or eighty-first Christmas, the story of the baby of Bethlehem still must be told.  That baby, Jesus, was the salvation of the world.  He would redeem all His people.  Those who believe on Him have everlasting life.  If you have this life, proclaim to the world the glory of Christ.  If not, make this the year you experience union with the only Savior of mankind.
